Hunt4 Employment is looking a meticulous and experienced Aerospace Inspector to join our client in Staverton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace inspection, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, proficiency in Excel, and a willingness to travel to different sites as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Analyse inspection data and report findings to management, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other quality-related documentation.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to verify product dimensions and tolerances.
  • Utilize Excel to document inspection results, generate reports, and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform inspections at various locations, requiring travel to different sites as necessary.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address any discrepancies or non-conformities found during inspections.
  • Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a quality assurance role or similar position is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Proven experience as an Aerospace Inspector or in a similar role.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and report generation.
  • Willingness to travel to different sites as required.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to aerospace inspection.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS).
