Recruitment Consultant - Construction

Fairmead are currently looking for recruitment consultants of all levels to add to our team in the Cambridge office. We also have an opportunity for consultants in our Chelmsford office.

You will be working with a wealth of jobs from day one with some of the biggest, most high-profile construction projects in East Anglia and across the UK. It’s an exciting role where you can really run with it, you will own your own desk and earn as much money as you want, the infrastructure and platform are there for you to excel.

We have established business relationships with some of the region’s biggest construction companies. We are looking to develop these and others with ambitious, sales focused professionals.

The Responsibilities of a Recruitment Consultant:

• Sourcing and pre-screening candidates for your roles in blue-collar construction managing the process from sourcing to introduction to offer and onboarding
• Providing a consultative service to our clients completing the full 360-degree recruitment.
• Meeting with our existing and potential clients
• Focus big on supplying and building your network of construction professionals.
• Building relationships with existing client base
• Build and maintain relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process

The ideal candidate would have:

• Sales/recruitment experience within construction is ideal. Customer service backgrounds or recruiters from other sectors are also encouraged to apply
• A driven, money motivated attitude
• Attitude is key – if you’re willing to work hard and push yourself you will reap the rewards
• Communication skills are essential, you will be talking to individuals on a daily basis, qualifying and placing them in their next role.
• Accountability, honesty and professionalism
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
