I working with a specialist pipeline contractor who is looking to appoint a site engineer for a pipeline project in Honiton.
You will need to provide your own laptop with CAD.
Key Responsibilities:
Rate will be dependant on experience and if you provide your own kit.

Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful individual will be responsible for provisions of all aspects of site engineering ranging from setting our pipelines, fencing and asbuilt records.
- Manage key relationships with the supply chain.
- Supporting the project team with technical advice.
- Committed to achieving the highest standards of Health & Safety, Welfare and Sustainability through promoting collaborative working and continued progressive improvement.
- Work with the project team to collaboratively identify and manage on site risks in a proactive manner.
- Ensuring that the success of the project is always at the forefront of any decisions, both financially and operationally and promote best value.
- Review the Contractor’s design documentation to ensure full coordination with adjacent elements and interfaces.
- Monitor construction operations and progress, building a relationship with our in-house construction gangs.
- Desirable SSSTS or SMSTS
- An excellent understanding of the principles and methodology of managing projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients and employees
- Ability to manage multiple workloads and shifting priorities
- Sound working knowledge of Safety, Health and Environment
- Valid CSCS Certifications
