Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are currently looking for a talented Maintenance Electrician to join a busy multi-skilled maintenance department at a leading Print Centre in the Glasgow area. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who will be crucial to ensuring that all production equipment operates smoothly and meets the required operational standards.

In this hands-on role, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out planned maintenance tasks to established standards and procedures.
  • Performing diagnostic work and ensuring quick, effective resolutions to maximize press and mailroom equipment performance.
  • Analysing machine performance and ensuring that maintenance records are updated accordingly.
  • Supporting the maintenance of site facilities, such as compressors and HVAC systems.
  • Collaborating with team members on problem-solving and conducting root cause analysis.

Experienced required:

  • HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) / time served engineer 
  • Experienced working with PLC control systems and AC servo drives
  • A background in printing or high-speed manufacturing maintenance is highly desirable
