What Are We Looking For?

Our Muir of Ord office is looking for a Procurement Coordinator to join the business on a permanent basis, to support the Procurement and Supply Chain team. This will include procurement data and systems management, supplier management and supporting with strategic initiatives within the function.

Please note that there will be a requirement to travel to the Inverness head office on occasion.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

  • Day-to-day administrative support of activities across the procurement function e.g. supplier onboarding, expediting, reporting, central mailbox management and maintenance of the online procurement catalogues
  • Actively supporting and maintaining the systems that support Procurement and Supplier Management, ensuring processes and data are meeting the business requirements to support the overall team strategy
  • Support the implementation of the agreed supplier quality processes, specific to Supplier Relationship Management
  • Developing and producing ad -hoc, monthly and quarterly team reporting information as required.
  • Maintaining and updating with guidance from the management team all the team policies and documentation.
  • Maintaining and updating the procurement team’s intranet and web presence, to ensure effective communication and awareness of the team’s offering to internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting the Supply Chain functions with strategic projects.
  • Assisting the Purchase Ledger team to process invoices on our system during busy periods or staff holidays.
  • Supporting our travel team with the reconciliation of their credit card each month.
  • Be a team player and self-starter with the ability to administer multiple tasks at a time, working in a collaborative and proactive manner with other team members across the business
  • Performing other duties to support the Procurement team as required.

What Do You Need?

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong IT skills essential.
  • Have a very good administration knowledge and skills.
  • Be able to organise and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Be able to work to deadlines to produce work to a high standard.
  • Be a clear and concise communicator maintaining a polite and professional manner.
  • Be self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
  • Be able to work well within a team environment.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
