About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher to join our team, focusing on teaching across Key Stage 1 (KS1). This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young learners in their early years of education, creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across all core subjects in line with the KS1 curriculum
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to achieve their best
  • Assess, monitor, and track students' progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all learners
  • Support pupils' social and emotional development, promoting good behavior and positive relationships
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development to enhance teaching practices
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that promotes creativity and active learning

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, ideally across KS1
  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage young learners
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with pupils, staff, and parents
  • A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with SEN pupils or additional qualifications in special educational needs
  • Knowledge of phonics programs such as Read Write Inc. or Letters and Sounds
  • Experience in using creative and innovative teaching methods
