The client
My client are a medium sized civil engineering and groundworks contractor based in the North Lancashire area. This is a split office and site based role.
Duties
Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
Undertaking costs analysis
Providing advice on contractual claims
Assisting in establishing a clients requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
Performing risk and value management and cost control
Advising on procurement strategy
Preparing and analysing costing for tenders
Allocating work to subcontractors
Candidate essentials
Civil Engineering background
Must have run complex civil engineering and groundworks jobs as a lead quantity surveyor
Must have experience working in a fast paced civil engineering environment
Compiled and administered NEC subcontract contracts previously
Salary
£45,000 - £65,000 (depending on level and experience) please note they are open to seeing assistant level candidates who have ran own projects and want to make a step up
