My client is looking for a Procurement & Contract Manager to manage the procurement and contract administration function on Company projects which involves supply chain development, procurement strategy, tendering and evaluation, negotiation and contract management. The role also includes an input to main contract T&C reviews.

The ideal candidate will have had previous experience in the procurement and contract management/administration of goods and services in the construction industry and will be a key member of the project delivery teams for a range of projects.

Experience in regulated process sectors would be an advantage. The candidate will be familiar with standard Forms of Contract (eg. IChemE / NEC4) used in the UK and Europe.

Responsibilites

  • To administer the process of procuring equipment, contracts,  subcontracts and services.
  • To work closely with project teams and customers delivering a service to fully meet their requirements and develop repeat work through excellent performance and quality.
  • To assist the review of main contracts (between them and their customers) and provide advice to project teams.
  • To administer contracts both on behalf of the Company and their Clients including payments, variations, expediting and forecasting

Experience

  • Strong knowledge of all commonly used model Forms of contract for UK services and supplies 
  • Extensive experience as a procurement / contracts manager in construction or engineering
  • Experience in project procurement in a regulated industry (i.e. Life Science/ Nuclear/ Oil & Gas etc)
  • Full UK driving license

This is a 12 month FTC hybrid role with 1 day in the Central London office required
