Manufacturing Engineer. Bourne, Peterborough.  £30,000 - £35,000

• Production Engineer, Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer based near to Bourne in Lincolnshire.
• Excellent opportunity for an apprentice trained engineer or manufacturing professional to work within a role which will provide broad exposure to production processes and continuous improvement techniques. 
• Established, stable and successful business that design and manufacture specialist equipment for the agricultural industry worldwide.
• £32,000 - £35,000 salary as a very rough estimate but will be dependent on experience + pension + 25 days holiday and all bank holidays.  2:30pm finish on a Friday afternoon!

This Manufacturing Engineer job will suit:

• Experience working within a Production Engineer, Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or similar.
• Preferably you will have some knowledge of manufacturing and production techniques / processes.
• This is a very broad role – you will get involved with the Design team as well as the production team, so any knowledge of CAD & Engineering drawings, prototypes, CRM / ERP systems will be highly beneficial.
• Engineering qualifications – Degree, HND, HNC, Apprenticeship or equivalent.
• You will need to be able to commute to their facility in Bourne.

The Manufacturing Engineer job will involve:

• Working alongside the design and production teams to develop procedures and processes to ensure high quality, cost effective and efficient production of new and existing products.
• Using a professional ERP system – working with Bills of Material
• Interpret and help to produce CAD drawings.
