Quest Employment is recruiting for Quality controllers for one of our clients based in Stevenage.

This client specialises in packing and distributing fruits and vegetables to major retailers all around the UK.

Main Duties as a quality control:

•  Conduct visual inspections and laboratory tests on vegetables, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Oversee food production processes to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality specifications.

• Compliance Checks: Ensure that food products comply with local, national, and international food safety regulations 

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality assessments to support traceability and accountability.

• Identify any quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence, including product recalls if necessary.

•  Ensure that food processing environments adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards to prevent contamination.

• Educate staff on quality control procedures, food safety practices, and the importance of maintaining high standards
