Are you a dedicated and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner ready to make a difference in a dynamic and supportive clinical environment? This GP surgery, spread across two locations in Lowestoft, is seeking a skilled professional to join their team and deliver high-quality patient care.

Serving a patient list of over 15,000 across two sites, you'll work alongside GPs, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Nurses, Pharmacists, and a highly capable administrative team.

The Role: In this role, you'll work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team, running your own clinics and providing face-to-face care. You’ll handle triage, manage referrals, review test results, and issue prescriptions. Flexibility and a can-do attitude are key, as you'll be expected to assist colleagues when needed. Ideally, you're comfortable treating a broad range of patients, from children to older adults, and managing various medical conditions. This position also includes providing care for a local nursing home, with twice-weekly ward rounds.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Essential Skills & Experience: Strong communication skills, proactive approach, experience working with vulnerable patients, handling pathology results, and conducting telephone triage.
  • Qualifications: Minor illness management, independent prescribing, and chronic disease management expertise.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team, contributing to high-quality patient care.
  • Desirable Skills: Familiarity with SystmOne, experience in minor injuries, contraception, and leadership roles within a GP practice.
