Are you ready to lead and drive excellence in service management? Stannah, a trusted name in lift and escalator solutions, is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee our operations and uphold our commitment to safety and service excellence in our London Infrastructure Branch.

As the Branch Manager, your job is to lead, inspire, and oversee the London Infrastructure Branch (LIB) which manages all Network Rail lifts and escalators within within the London area.

The role involves developing the business strategy, setting clear objectives, and managing the branch's profit and loss (P&L) to ensure contractual commitments and key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently achieved.

Services include the provision of comprehensive planned preventative maintenance, repair and modernisation supply for all manner of lifts and escalators.

The considerable potential for continued business success in this region requires an energetic and experienced Lift Industry professional, capable of growing the business in the face of strong regional and national competition, by providing successful leadership to the c.40 staff in the Branch

Job Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure Divisions, the Branch Manager's job will be accountable for every aspect of Branch performance, from its current and future profit and portfolio mix , as well for building and implementing a long-term sustainable growth strategy for the Branch. Your responsibilities include:

  • Leadership: Set high standards for service delivery, health & safety, customer care, and operational efficiency.
  • Team Management: Lead a dedicated team to ensure optimal performance and development.
  • Customer Focus: Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring service meets their needs and expectations.
  • Financial Management: Drive profitability through effective budget management and strategic decision-making.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee service provision, including maintenance, repairs, and installations, adhering to company standards and policies.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record in service management within a comparable industry, ideally the lift and escalator industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • A strategic business outlook for service in the lift and escalator industry with knowledge of our chosen markets an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercial acumen in managing B2B relationships.
  • Relevant business or management qualification
