SEN Teacher – ASD & PMLD Specialist

Are you a passionate SEN Teacher with experience in working with pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD)? Dunbar Education is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join a fantastic school in East London.

The Role:

• Plan, deliver, and assess lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with ASD and PMLD.
• Implement strategies to support learning, communication, and social skills development.
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
• Proven experience working with students with ASD and PMLD in a school or specialist setting.
• Strong understanding of differentiated teaching approaches and individualised education plans (IEPs).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A commitment to making a difference in the lives of students with complex needs.
