Role Overview:
The Quantity Surveyor will play a crucial role in managing costs and contracts on infrastructure civil projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NEC contracts and subcontract management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Management: Oversee project costs, ensuring financial efficiency and budget adherence.
  • Contract Administration: Manage NEC contracts, ensuring compliance and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Subcontract Management: Handle subcontractor agreements, negotiations, and performance monitoring.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential financial risks associated with the project.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on project financials, progress, and forecasts.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience in Infrastructure Civil Projects: Proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.

NEC Contract Expertise: In-depth knowledge and experience with NEC contracts.

  • Subcontract Management: Strong skills in managing and negotiating with subcontractors.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse financial data and make informed decisions.
