Mechanical Project Manager

Mechanical Contractor with International Presence require a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to oversee a challenging decarbonisation project on behalf of a well-known chain of Leisure centres in Northwest London. This is a pilot project with a value of circa £1.3 million and if successful will result in the contractor being awarded other similar projects with the same client.

Mechanical Project Manager Person Spec

You will come from a Contracting Background and have experience of similar scale projects/values coupled with the experience in the replacement of boilers with Heat Pumps on a Commercial scale. The Company are based in the Surrey area but are happy for you to work remotely with once a week catch up meetings at their offices.

Mechanical Project Manager Responsibilities

• Day to day management of project team
• Regular reporting and updating the client
• Ensure project is delivered on time, within budget and to required quality and standards
• Reporting to Directors, identifying risks and ensure they are reported, managed and mitigation measures are put in place
• Develop an understanding of clients’ needs and ensure accurate and factual communications. 

Mechanical Project Manager Remuneration

This is a contract position with an initial duration of 12 months but will most likely extend well beyond that. A Professional Daily rate of Circa £425 per day (Neg). All travel expenses will also be paid. You can either be paid via CIS or through your own Ltd Company.
