Software Tester

Working onsite in Portslade, Sussex.

Our client will not consider candidates who are not British Citizens, Indefinite Leave to Remain visa or UK Settled Status visa. Also we are looking for local candidates based in Sussex not candidate looking to relocate.

We have a new Software Test Analyst role working at a dynamic Portslade based Automotive Software Company. This company have experienced massive growth in the last 5 years and are looking to expand their Testing team.

This role is paying £40k to £50k per annum with a great benefits package and this is full time based in their offices.

We are looking for a Software Tester to work with our client's award-winning SaaS system. You will be responsible for the quality assurance and testing of their system, including various integrations from 3rd party providers.

As a Software Tester you will be collaborating with the Software Developers, helping to ensure efficiency throughout the process. Performing end-to-end test cases and providing feedback to the software development team as required. This is mainly a Manual Testing role, with the opportunity to work with Automation over the next 12 months.

Ideally you will have the following experience:

• Software integration and system testing experience.
• Experience working with the Open Source technologies like Python, PHP, React, MongoDB, MySQL and AWS would be useful but not essential
• Experience working with Cloud, DevOps and Agile/Scrum or Kanban boards would be an advantage but not essential
• Some experience with Automated Testing would be an advantage, but not essential
• Accreditation in Software Certified Testing (ISTQB or ISEB) would be an advantage

As a software tester, working to deadlines, team collaboration, attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective communication are essential for success in this role.
