We are working with a leading groundwork and civil engineering specialist contractor that is looking for an experienced Groundworks Site Manager to manage a large residential development of 400 units in Leominster.
The Role:
As the Groundworks Site Manager, you’ll oversee all groundworks and civil engineering activities on-site, ensuring that work is completed to a high standard, on time, and within budget. You will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring health and safety regulations are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all groundworks and civil engineering operations on a 400-unit residential site
- Liaise with the project management team, clients, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Monitor site progress and provide regular reports to senior management
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise on-site
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Groundworks Site Manager on large residential developments
- Strong background in groundworks and civil engineering
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing site challenges
