Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a IT Database Consultant to work for the world's leading manufacturer of chocolate and confectionary products. 

The Role:

The 1st Line Support Desk Engineer will provide support to all users of our Digital Enforcement Solution. Ensure the efficient running of all hardware, software and services as part of a team of Enforcement Support Engineers. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide telephone support, first line fault finding and investigations. 

• Ensuring the InView Fault Management system is used to record issues and provide updates to the affected client. 

• Generate and analyze system performance reports in order to proactively identify issues and opportunities for system optimization 

• Undertake appropriate training for equipment and systems as and when necessary, via formal and informal training, including on the job training. 

• Any other duties reasonably required within the skills required for the role. 

Key Skills and experience required:

• Someone with a passionate interest or experience working with PC hardware and software; fault finding, diagnosing and repairing. 

• Someone who is interested in learning bespoke and technical systems. ∙ Someone with a working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and basic networking principles 

• Someone who is proactive and result-oriented (you’ll also have a structured and hands on approach to complex tasks). 

• Someone who can work on their own or as part of a team; works well with other people and communicates effectively within the team and with clients.
