An English Teacher is required for a mixed sex secondary school in the Durham area which is part of a large Catholic Trust. You will deliver English to KS3 and KS4 in this role. This is an ongoing position covering a maternity leave starting the end of November 2024. The school has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

The ideal English Teacher candidate would:

• Have good classroom management skills
• Have a passion for teaching English 
• Have excellent subject knowledge
• Be able to organise themselves
• Be able to plan effective, engaging English lessons.

We are keen to hear from both experienced teachers or ECTs.
