We are working with a top tier construction company who are looking to employ a Software Delivery Manager on a full-time basis. As a Software Delivery Manager your primary purpose will be to oversee the end-to-end delivery of software projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Software Delivery Manager is responsible for mitigating risks, resolving issues, and continuously improving delivery processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery
  • Ensure stakeholder expectations are aligned with project objectives and deliverables
  • Allocate tasks effectively based on team members' skills and project needs
  • Provide necessary support and guidance to resolve issues and maintain team productivity
  • Regularly assess processes to identify areas for improvement
  • Evaluate the impact of process changes and adjust strategies as needed for continuous improvement
  • Regularly track key performance indicators to measure project and team success
  • Analyse performance data to identify trends, strengths, and areas needing improvement

What do we need from you?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a Related Fiel and a strong educational foundation in technical disciplines is crucial.
  • Project Management Certification: Qualifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) are highly desirable
  • Hands-on experience in software development or engineering
  • Experience with complex software projects, ideally in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification (desirable)
  • Experience with specific project management tools (e.g.Devops) (desirable)
  • Knowledge of AI based solution building (desirable)

The salary is indicative and based on experience.
