Our client who Specialising in the storage and distribution sector are currently recruiting for a Night Shift Team Leader to become an integral part of their team.

Hours of work

Monday - Friday 11pm – 6am

Duties:

•Responsible for all Health & Safety issues within their area they cover and to notify supervisor / manager of any H& S incidents or near misses around the site.

•To ensure all workload targets are met as a minimum requirement daily in line with business expectations.

•To keep manager informed of department performance verbally and with regular updates.

•To ensure all Replenishments and put away’s are completed each evening.

•To ensure hygiene standards are always at a required level.

•To work with supervisor / manager to improve efficiency across the site.

•To have close working relationship with other areas of the site.

•To be actioning KPI checks and standards on staff in their areas.

•To work with their supervisor line manager to identify areas for development.

•Monitoring daily check sheets.

Skills needed to do role:

Knowledge of computer systems and email.

•To be able to motivate a team to achieve stretching targets.

•Good people management skills.

•Able to deal with unexpected challenges on a regular basis.

•Good organisational skills.

•Good communication skills.

•Quick at picking up new processes.

•Be able to hold briefings.

Requirements for this role:

•Flexibility of working hours and be able to work the required hours to ensure completion of all aspects of the role to a high standard.

•A minimum of 2 years management or supervisory experience within a Warehouse or Distribution centre is essential.

•The applicant must be able to drive FLT or had previous experience driving.
