Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA) Level 2

Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time (Temporary & Permanent Positions Available)

Are you passionate about education and supporting young learners in secondary school? We are a leading education recruitment agency seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants (Level 2) to join our growing team for placements within secondary schools across the S26 area.

As a TA Level 2, you will play a crucial role in assisting teachers in delivering high-quality education. You will work closely with students, helping to create a positive and productive learning environment, providing one-to-one or small group support, and ensuring students with varying needs reach their full potential.

• Support teachers in managing classroom activities and student behavior
• Assist in the preparation and organization of learning materials
• Work with small groups or individual students to support learning, focusing on literacy, numeracy, and other subjects
• Help students with additional learning needs, including SEN students, to engage with the curriculum
• Monitor and report on student progress, behavior, and development
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working with children in a secondary school setting (preferred)
• A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping students succeed
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents
• A valid DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one
