Operations / Logistics Manager

£40,000 per annum

37.5 hrs Per Week including normal office hours

Overnight installs and occasional weekend work

We are proud to partner with our client on this exciting, unique, challenging and rewarding opportunity that will suit an aspiring professional who possesses basic electrical and practical skills such as assembly and use of basic hand tools and is looking to take their experience to the next level.

Based at our client’s site in Daventry, you will be initially responsibly for the effective recruitment and management of a team to ensure objectives are achieved through direct ownership of:

Safe and ISO compliant management of the warehouse in Daventry

Stock Management and organisation

Delivery, installation and maintenance of equipment at client sites across the UK.

Team management of permanent employees and temporary staff and related administrative tasks

Managing the operations team’s workload and dairy to ensure projects are completed on time

Ordering of new equipment / supplies and supplier liaison

checking equipment for faults upon return to the warehouse and organising repairs

Arranging servicing and maintenance of the vehicle fleet

The successful candidate will be:

Experienced in managing a team and or in a warehouse / logistical role

Results driven and detail orientated

Able to work with minimal supervision

A good communicator

Trustworthy and reliable

Working with the COO to identify operational opportunities based on business requirement's 

Able to communicate effectively with senior management and external colleagues

Be mobile and be willing to work flexible hours including night work and occasional weekend work

Responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment in the warehouse and at customer sites

Experienced in working with Audio Visual equipment and basic electrics

Focused on best proactive and customer service excellence 

Compliant with the companies Heath, Safety, Environment & Quality Management System

Hold FLT Counterbalance certification or be willing to attain

Hold a full UK Driving Licence 

Always be looking to innovate and provide the most effective and efficient service.
