We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Draughtsman to join our clients well established and highly successful Steel Fabrication company.

Experience using either Tekla or StruCAD and have previously worked on Steel Frame Buildings is essential.

An excellent basic salary is available, along with optional overtime paid at enhanced rates. The family owned business is based near Sandwell making it easily commutable from surrounding areas. This is a full time office based role.

Draughtsman Duties: 
•    Working from engineering/GA drawings to create 3D CAD Tekla or StruCad models (mainly portal frame buildings). 
•    Create detailed assembly/fabrication drawings, bills of material, erection drawings from the 3D model. 
•    Raise RFIs/TQs as required where more information is required. 
  

Draughtsman requirements: 
•    Experience working as a Draughtsman on steel framed buildings is essential. 
•    Experience using either Tekla or StruCad software is essential. 
•    Have a good eye for detail and take pride in your work. 
•    Must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis. 
•    Live near/commutable distance to the office – this is a full time office based role
