GI Group are currently recruiting for a 7.5t Driver to join our clients friendly team on a long-term basis.

7.5t Driver

Bristol, BS32

Pay rate: £13.71 per hour

Working hours: 09:00am till finish


Duties
- Diversity of role with extreme operational peaks, a driver must remain flexible in order to work
with the varying levels of workload
- Ability to achieve deadlines across a variety of routes
- Ability to manage working day to remain within the relevant legal guidelines for both EU Drivers hours regulations and EU Working Time
regulations.
- Complete daily vehicle safety checks, safe loading / securing load of vehicle, report maintenance defects, adhere to Tachograph & Working
Time Directive legislative / regulations and adherence to company driving standards, as per the initial driving assessment, Fuel Efficiency
& Telematics' training.
- Complete scheduled deliveries and collections of shipments of a variety of weights
- Sort and prioritise workload to ensure time commitments are met.
- Ensure correct completion of DHL / Customer data and documentation, airway bills, JD numbers, HUID numbers post codes etc
- Expected to comply with DHL's uniform and ensure all relevant ID passes as worn at all times


Requirements
- Full Uk drivers licence.
- Aged over 21 year's with a minimum of 2 year's driving experience.
- Held a CPC Card for atleast 2 years.
- Held a Digi Tacho Card for atleast 2 years.
