Copello have partnered with an established Air Traffic Management company in the recruitment of an Assistant Project Accountant. Based in Whiteley.
Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Head of Finance and the Project Accountants
- “Can do” and “right first time” attitude.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with an ability to engage, build and manage relationships across the company at all levels whilst providing robust challenges when required.
- Full understanding of what a report is going to be used for so that requirements can be tailored to suit the audience
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Long-term contract accounting knowledge
- An understanding of balance sheet reconciliations
- Forecasting experience
- Previous experience of working with the UK MoD
- Proficient Excel user
- Working knowledge of PowerBI and Sage
