Role Overview

As a Design and Technology teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons that spark creativity and critical thinking.
  • Encourage students to explore and develop their design and engineering skills.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and promote interdisciplinary learning.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Foster a safe and stimulating learning environment.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities related to design and technology.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Resistant Materials and Engineering at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology and design.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
