Mechanical Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established company based within the Llanidloes area.
This is a full-time position with a yearly salary of £33,000 and £37,000 dependant on experience.
The working hours are as follows:
- Monday – Friday : 08:00 – 16:30
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for projects from assembly through to installation.
- Assist with equipment assembly as needed.
- Minor fabrication work.
- Ensure site Health and Safety compliance, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements for all on-site activities.
- Interpret layout drawings based on installation needs.
- Will require occasional travel away from home.
What qualifications and skills do you need:
- Mechanical knowledge and experience
- Familiarity with conveyors and ABB robotic systems is preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in reactive and small project maintenance.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with a proactive mindset.
- Basic IT proficiency.
- Excellent time management and planning abilities.
- Capable of providing clear and concise information in reports.
