SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGN ENGINEER - INNOVATIVE HARDWARE STARTUP

THE OPPORTUNITY:

THE ROLE:

• Lead product development from late-stage prototyping through to mass production
• Drive DFM/DFA optimization and production engineering
• Collaborate with international manufacturing partners
• Own the technical documentation and production specifications
• Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure design excellence

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 10-15 years' product development experience
• Strong track record of shipping consumer hardware products
• Expert-level SolidWorks capabilities
• Deep understanding of DFMA and DFMEA methodologies
• Proven experience working with Asian manufacturers
• Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals

IDEAL BACKGROUND:

• Experience with household appliances or similar consumer products
• Expertise in fluid systems (pumps, valves) and thermal management
• Knowledge of international compliance requirements
• Experience bringing products to the North American market
