Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our dynamic team in Bedford. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver goods to customers and businesses within designated routes.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Minimum handballing
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including timesheets and delivery logs.
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and recipients.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents promptly.
• Assist in the planning of efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel usage.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 2 driving license (Category C).
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
• Previous experience as a Class 2 driver is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local roads and routes in Bedford and surrounding areas.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit to handle loading and unloading tasks.
