Driver Hire Basingstoke & Newbury is seeking a dedicated Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our team and work with a highly reputable client based in Newbury, Berkshire. If you’re passionate about driving and delivering top-quality service, this could be the perfect role for you.

The Role:

• Position: Class 2 Delivery Driver
• Contract: Temp to Perm
• Start Time: 08:00
• Working Days: Monday to Friday (Occasional Weekend Working available)
• Shift Length: 10 hours per day
• Responsibilities: Working to a prepared route, you will be making deliveries to a range of different businesses.  You will also be responsible for the start and finish checks of the vehicle, highlighting any issues to the site team as required.

What You Need:

• Licence: Full UK driving licence, with less than 6 points
• Certifications: You must have a valid CPC Driver Card, along with a valid Digital Tacho card.
• Experience: Ideally, at least 1 years driving experience in the class of vehicle being used.
• Skills: Excellent timekeeping and strong customer service abilities, as you will be the face of both the company, and of Driver Hire
• Transport: Must have your own transport for commuting to work
