Ryder Reid Legal is currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity as our top law firm client is seeking a Legal Receptionist to join them on an ongoing temporary basis, initially for at least 4 weeks, with an opportunity of extension.

The successful candidate will provide a warm welcome to all clients, both internal and external, creating a positive first impression and maintaining a professional and organised reception area. You will work as part of a small team across various shifts to ensure the front of house function runs smoothly and professionally.

Hours for this role will be on a shift basis so flexibility will be required.

Duties will include:

• Greet and direct visitors upon arrival, notifying appropriate firm members and guiding them to the correct floor, meeting room, or area.
• Maintain an accurate visitor log to track arrivals and departures.
• Answer routine inquiries and phone calls, relaying messages and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel or department.
• Manage requests for conference room bookings and meeting arrangements, coordinating with food services, audio-visual support, and other relevant areas.
• Act as a liaison with external caterers to ensure successful event catering.
• Submit and update events on the Firm Meetings and Events Calendar.
• Prepare visitor offices upon request and ensure they are ready for guest arrivals.
• Handle light administrative tasks, including faxing, copying, and arranging ground transportation and dining reservations.

For this role, you will be positive and professional and have customer facing experience gained from within a law firm.
