Are you an experienced Operations Manager looking for a role where you can make an impact and progress your career? We are recruiting for a leading provider of refurbished office furniture, serving clients across the UK, and we are looking for a talented individual to manage our warehouse operations and support the Director.

About the Role:

In this hands-on role, you will be based in our Darvel office and be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. The Director will be frequently on the road across the UK, so you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and running the business in their absence. You will be responsible for coordinating logistics, overseeing stock management, leading a team of warehouse staff, and ensuring all processes are efficient and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage warehouse operations
  • Coordinate deliveries and logistics across the UK
  • Ensure stock control and inventory systems are maintained
  • Lead and manage the warehouse team, ensuring productivity and safety
  • Support the Director in operational planning and decision-making
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role, ideally within warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a proactive and flexible approach
  • Willingness to take ownership and lead in the Director's absence
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and warehouse management systems
