About the role:

• Identify and allocate appropriate resources and interventions to meet the specific needs of students.
• Create and oversee individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure cohesive support for students.
• Regularly assess student progress and adapt strategies to promote academic and emotional growth.
• Drive the development and implementation of inclusive practices throughout the school.
• Foster relationships with families and the wider community to enhance support networks for students.
• Establish a supportive environment that encourages emotional well-being and resilience

The ideal candidate must:

• Have the right to work within the UK
• DBS registered on the update system or willing to purchase one
• Deeply committed to supporting children with special educational needs.
• A compassionate approach to understanding and addressing the diverse needs of students.
• Previous experience working with children with special education needs
• Ability to advocate for the needs and rights of students with special educational needs.
