A brilliant new opportunity has opened up with a well-known retail Bank for a Senior Tech Lead specialising in Data.

This will be a senior technical position in the business that encompasses mentorship and training of the team, along with spearheading technical designs and solutions, then implementing these. You will be providing strategic leadership for data technology, ensuring alignment with, and actively supporting the Bank's business objectives in a hands-on capacity.

The role would be perfect for someone who loves innovation, is keen to dive straight in to things and have a real impact with the work that you're doing. You'll be constantly looking to push the boundaries and make sure that you're at the forefront of modern technology, bringing the team with you!

This is a permanent position with a salary on offer of up to £125k doe + comprehensive benefits package. They would like you to come to their London, Bristol or Edinburgh office on a hybrid basis (twice a week), this can be flexible and negotiable if required.

Tech skills needed:

• Python and/or Java
• Data Warehousing / Power BI / TeraData / Snowflake / DataBricks
• Azure - Must have
• Kafka
• PostgreSQL
• Good understanding of best practices
• Strong design and implementation experience

You will need to have a level of hands-on current experience for this position, in order to be able to properly code review / dive in when needed.
