Role Overview:
We're recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant with BSL certification to support two pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a Salford-based school. This role involves working closely with the class teacher to help bridge learning gaps for pupils working below Age-Related Expectations.

Requirements:

• BSL training (Level 1-3) and relevant experience
• Proven experience with SEN pupils
• Able to provide supporting references

Role Details:

• Location: Salford
• Start Date: ASAP (Contact Tamara at (phone number removed)
• Shift: Mornings only, long-term position
• Pay: £66 - £80 per day (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the class teacher to support academic growth for two pupils with a Hearing Impairment
• Provide individualised support for students to facilitate comprehension and learning
• Assist in preparing resources and organising lesson materials
• Establish trust-based, positive relationships with students
• Collaborate with staff across key stages to share resources and best practices

Essential Requirements:

• Strong references highlighting KS1/KS2 experience
• Full employment history and legal right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS check and suitable references
