Job Title: Senior Product Owner
Location: 2 Full Days per Week in London Office
Rate: £725 - £750 per day (Inside IR35)

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to shape and lead the development of cutting-edge data and analytics products, enabling high-impact decision-making. This pivotal role involves translating complex business requirements into actionable technical tasks, overseeing the product backlog, and ensuring seamless alignment between business objectives and development deliverables.

As the Senior Product Owner, you’ll manage the prioritisation and refinement of user stories within an Agile Scrum environment, focusing on one of the following product areas:

• Back-office revenue solutions (e.g., payments, data processing, integration)
• Front-end user interfaces (e.g., portals, CRM, mobility platforms)
• Transport-specific solutions (e.g., GIS, asset management, rostering)
• Data products (e.g., data warehousing, analytics)

Key responsibilities include backlog maintenance, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring clarity for the development team. You’ll also address any technical ambiguities with stakeholders, ensuring projects align with sponsor expectations and are delivered to a high standard.

Key Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of business intelligence, data warehousing, data modeling, and big data.
• Proven experience in software development and delivery.
• Familiarity with government/public sector IT legislation (e.g., Data Protection Act, EU Procurement Directives).
