TRAINEE ENGINEER - NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

Our client is seeking a Trainee Engineer to join their Water Operations division, working on the Thames Water contract, covering Oxford and surrounding areas. As a Trainee Engineer, you will be responsible for capturing data and managing data logging equipment on our client’s water distribution network to assist with leakage detection activities. This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week) with competitive pay, including the real living wage.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting with the collection of data for leakage reporting and expanding our portfolio of data loggers.
• Fitting, upgrading, and collecting data loggers on water networks.
• Analysing leakage District Metered Areas (DMA) and control zones, identifying assets suitable for logger deployment.
• Studying mapping and understanding water distribution networks.
• Maintaining deployed equipment to ensure maximum network availability.
• Planning efficient routes and having good geographical knowledge of the Basingstoke region.
