Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of Azure engineers and specialists, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues and drive resolution in collaboration with team members.
- Oversee the Azure platform to ensure operational reliability, monitoring, and proactive management.
- Implement best practices for high availability, resilience, and automated monitoring to support business-critical applications.
- Manage and optimize Azure costs, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Regularly review cloud expenditures and provide recommendations for cost control and resource optimization.
- Manage changes to the Azure platform to uphold and enhance security standards, implementing governance and compliance measures.
- Work closely with security teams to address vulnerabilities, conduct regular security assessments, and implement best practices for data protection.
- Stay updated on evolving Azure capabilities and assess their potential benefits for our business.
- Drive platform evolution by identifying new tools and features that align with business goals and future growth.
- Proficiency in Azure services, cloud management, and automation tools. Strong understanding of Azure security, cost optimization, and governance best practices.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring technical teams with an ability to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and lead resolution in high-stakes situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Desirables - Azure certifications are a plus (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer).
