This is a great opportunity to join a specialist sustainability consultancy who provide highly technical services and solutions to the built environment industry. They are looking for an IES modeller to join their Bristol based energy team and take the lead on numerous exciting construction projects.
Key responsibilities for an IES Modeller include:
- Use IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling and analysis to optimise building performance
- Ensure projects are in compliance with CIBSE TM52 and TM59 by carrying out Part O assessments
- Work alongside architects and engineers to ensure the best energy design strategies are put in place
- Help improve client understanding of Part L and Part O
- Provide sustainable solutions to clients to reduce their carbon footprint and mentor the more junior members of the team.
The ideal IES Modeller will have:
- Proficiency with IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling and analysis
- Relevant experience in a similar modeller or consultancy role within the built environment industry
- Educational background within an environmental science or engineering field
- Experience producing TM52 and TM59 reports in accordance with CIBSE guidelines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
