We are a small, welcoming primary school nestled in the beautiful area of Pendle, East Lancashire, looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS/Key Stage 1 teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a love for learning in our youngest pupils.

As our new EYFS/Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will lead a class of around 25 pupils, delivering a curriculum that inspires curiosity, resilience, and creativity. This role involves guiding our young learners through the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 curriculum, setting a strong foundation for their educational journey. You will work closely with our supportive staff team to create an engaging and nurturing learning environment tailored to the needs of each child.

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and inclusive lessons aligned with the EYFS and Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Create a supportive classroom environment where pupils feel safe, valued, and encouraged to achieve their best.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to support each child’s academic and personal development.
• Inspire a love for learning, encouraging children to explore and develop their interests and skills.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching EYFS or Key Stage 1.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Passionate about early childhood education and committed to making a positive impact on young learners.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a safe, engaging learning environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
