Mechanical Design Engineer – Surrey - £55-£60k

Are you a Building Services Mechanical Design Engineer, currently working within a consulting or M&E contractor environment and looking for a new challenge?

LDNY People are currently working with a medium sized, well established design and build contractor, they work on high profile projects in and around the London/South East. Typical projects range from £1-5 million predominantly within the fast paced commercial fit out space.

They are currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Design engineer to join their head office team, based in the North surrey area (close to a mainline station and parking).

This Mechanical Design Engineer may suit someone who is currently working within a consulting environment for more project exposure with a D&B contractor, they are open to background but you must be a Mechanical Design Engineer from an MEP/HVAC background in order to be considered for this position.

Role Requirements:

• You will currently be working as a Building Services Mechanical Design Engineer, ideally with a minimum of 6 years experience.
• You will be capable of producing your own design calculations, they have an inhouse CAD/BIM team.
• This role is based out of their North Surrey Head office, you must be commutable to here on a day to day basis.
• They work as part of a dynamic close knit team, they have a very low turnover of staff and are looking for a strong team player.
• You will need to be able to represent the company at client/site meetings, doing so in a professional and confident manner.
• This role does require someone with recent UK based experience who is up to speed on current regulations.
