About the Role

As a Nursery Practitioner in the preschool room, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children aged 3–5 years. Working closely with a team of experienced early years professionals, you’ll contribute to the children’s early learning and development, supporting them as they prepare for their transition to primary school.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Supporting children’s individual learning needs and helping them reach developmental milestones.
• Creating a safe and welcoming environment that promotes positive relationships with children, parents, and team members.
• Observing and assessing children’s progress, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to individual learning plans.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure a consistent and high-quality approach to care and learning.

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (essential).
• Proven experience working in a nursery or preschool environment.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Passionate about working with young children, with a warm and caring approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
