Alexander Steele has partnered with a leading food manufacturer that has an exciting opportunity for a Demand Planner to join their team in the northwest London area. You will manage demand plans and generate customer unconstrained demand and inventory forecasts.

Key responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain customer demand forecasts at agreed frequency
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure demand plans are reflective of current market trends and commercial opportunities, whilst maintaining flexibility to maximise our growth potential
  • Match sales, demand and supply planning to meet business commercial targets across all territories and the expanding product portfolio.
  • Develop and deliver key performance metrics within the S&OP process improving accountability, efficiency, cashflow and profitability along the way
  • Prepare and facilitate S&OP meetings. 

The Candidate:

  • Tertiary qualification or degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Economics or equivalent.
  • Demand Planning and Forecasting experience within a FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • Use of Demand Planning software and ERP experience essential (SAP will be advantageous).
  • Strong personal computer skills and advanced proficiency in the use of excel, including spreadsheet tools.
  • Good mathematical/statistical knowledge demonstrated capability in modelling, analysis and simulations tools.
  • Agility to work in a changing environment.
