Seeking a dedicated Primary School Year 2 Teacher - Luton

This is a long-term teacher position - January 2025 - February 2025 (Potential to go perm)

Salary: £160 - £218 per day (depending on experience)

Location: Centre of Luton

Are you a passionate and motivated Teacher who will is keen to teach a Year 2 class for the spring and potentially summer terms this academic year, helping to nurture the young minds and support them before going into KS2?

This is a large school in the centre of Luton that provide brilliant opportunities for potential career growth, lots of support and a big team of friendly staff.

About the school:

• This is a large primary school in the centre of Luton, 4-form entry in all year groups except Year R and Year 3 in which there are 5 forms.
• This school had Ofsted in September 2023 in which they were graded Good with Outstanding in the Early Years.
• They have a Team Leader in each year group and a dedicated Senior Leadership Team so there will be copious levels of support.

Requirements of the year 2 teacher:

• Staff training is on a Tuesday after school & team meetings are a Wednesday after school. Attendance to both of these will be required.
• Full planning and responsibilities of a class teacher will be required.
• Candidates need to hold QTS
• Ideally full time but part time may be considered
• They need to be available for a face to face interview
