Are you an experienced M&E Engineer looking for your next career move? This is your chance to join an industry leader, where you will carry out all aspects of electrical/mechanical maintenance.

A leading player in the industry is currently looking for a M&E Engineer to join their growing team, covering a commercial contract in Northampton.   

The Role

As the M&E Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in the following:

• Carry out fault finding and plant adjustments, check and inspect electrical/mechanical services, plant, and systems, and complete maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specification.
• Carry out general duties which require multi skilled discipline, fault finding to electrical wiring systems, motors, generators, lighting systems, chillers, AHUs along with cleaning of foul water systems, drains, inspections, and repair of all M&E systems such as extract and supply air ductwork systems, plumbing and heating systems.
• You will be working a rotating shift pattern, changing every 2 weeks on the below shift pattern:

• Monday – Friday 6am-3pm
• Sunday – Thursday 6am-3pm or 8am-5pm
• Tuesday – Saturday 6am-3pm or 8am-5pm
• Monday – Friday 2pm – 11pm

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in the role, you’ll bring the following skills and experience to the role:

• We are keen to speak to experienced M&E Engineers who are either qualified to 18th Edition and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or a relevant plumbing/mechanical qualification.
• Experience in a facilities maintenance / building service role is essential.
• Can do attitude, willing to be flexible.
