WB Power Services are currently recruiting a Transport Driver to work Day shifts out of our depot in Gloucester. This is a superb opportunity for a Transport Driver to join the business through this rapid period of growth. The Role:
- Working within Company quality, health & safety and environmental procedures
- Daily checks on the vehicles
- Safe loading/unloading vehicles/coupling up trailers.
- Refuelling of generators which are on hire on customer sites
- Delivering and collecting company equipment to and from all areas of the UK.
- Completing all necessary worksheets and hire documentation.
- General parts collections from suppliers when necessary.
- Keeping tachograph and other legal requirements involved with modern day driving on UK roads and highways.
- Providing 24/7 driver cover as required in line with driving hours legalities.
- Long Distance Van Driving experience.
- Ability to work 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts.
- Trailer experience is essential.
- Willing to work in a permanent role.
- You must have a valid in-date driver’s licence with minimal points.
- Comfortable with communicating via telephone and face-to-face.
- The capability to deal with a variety of customers from different industries.
- £12.50 + overtime after 48 hours
