Our client is currently seeking a Planning Officer to join their dynamic team on a contract basis. This role is pivotal in managing the development management process, providing essential planning services, and ensuring effective town planning practices.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing planning applications and appeals
  • Providing general planning advice to stakeholders
  • Investigating breaches and offering recommendations regarding planning control
  • Developing and maintaining planning policy and associated documents
  • Continuing professional development in Town Planning practices
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in development management
  • Understanding of planning application processes and appeals
  • Knowledge of town planning policies and controls
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills
