Office Manager

Are you an experienced Office Manager looking for a new challenge? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? Our client, a reputable organisation in Keele, is seeking an Office Manager to join their dynamic team. If you have excellent organisational and leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating a positive and efficient work environment, then this role is for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and streamline administrative procedures within the organisation
  • Manage a team of administrative staff and ensure smooth office operations
  • Develop, implement, and maintain company policies and procedures
  • Foster effective communication across the organisation
  • Maintain accurate financial records, process invoices and statements, and reconcile bank statements
  • Ensure compliance with current legislation and company guidelines for payments, insurances, contracts, and licences
  • Oversee staff training, induction, and qualifications to ensure compliance and continuous development
  • Complete regular staff supervisions/appraisals and support other areas of the business as needed
  • Purchase materials with a cost-effective approach
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Office Management
  • Strong time-management and people skills with a high degree of flexibility and multitasking ability
  • Proficiency with office and accounting applications and enthusiasm for learning new software and systems
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Positive and professional attitude at all times
  • Willingness to undergo further training and development as required

Desirable:

  • Experience in office management within the service industry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Advanced computer skills and experience with online platforms
  • Working knowledge of Sage accounts
  • Knowledge of scheduling and planning orders
