Salary: Up to £36,000 DOE + simple structured monthly commission

Due to continued success, and expansion plans for the surrounding Aberdeenshire areas, Driver Hire Aberdeen is looking for an experienced, driven, sales professional to be an integral part of our ambitious growth plans. This role will be a mix office (Aberdeen city) and remote working.

Role Overview
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in driving growth by identifying new business opportunities and building strong client relationships. This role is ideal for a proactive and personable professional with experience in sales or business development

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client portfolio in the Aberdeenshire postcodes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their hiring needs and offering customised recruitment solutions.
  • Work closely with our dedicated operations and recruitment teams to ensure client requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the company’s growth and revenue goals.
  • Conduct market research and area mapping activity to optimise opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver pitches and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Attend networking events and industry functions to promote our business and expand relationships.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management – experience in recruitment is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and establish lasting client relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
